Klopp slams Salah question as he provides honest Henderson opinion
Liverpool chief Jurgen Klopp has hit out at reporters after he was quizzed about the possibility of losing Mohamed Salah in the January transfer window.
Salah, 31, was heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League during the summer and Al-Ittihad saw a blockbuster £150million bid for his services rejected towards the end of the window.
They were expected to return with an improved proposal before last week's Saudi transfer deadline but failed to do so. They are, however, likely to continue their pursuit of the Liverpool talisman in the New Year.
Klopp was less than impressed, though, when he was asked about Salah's future in his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's trip to Wolves.
He said: "A week after it closed you ask me about the January transfer window! You can't wait until December to ask these questions? I'm not worried about and wasn't until you opened the wound again. I'm not worried."

Klopp was also asked for his opinion on a recent interview with former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, who quit the club in the summer to join Saudi outfit Al-Ettifaq.
Henderson claimed he left after it became clear he would not be guaranteed regular first-team football following talks with Klopp, something the Anfield chief did not deny.

Jurgen Klopp has hit back at questions over Mohamed Salah's future (This Is Anfield)Klopp added: "I didn't read the interview at first, then read it so I can make my own opinion, Hendo said the truth. That's how it was. We had talks, I told him I wanted him to stay but we talked about maybe not playing regularly.
"I cannot tell a player they can have 50 games because I don't know that. In our relationship, I thought it was important we speak about 'what happens if'. Hendo, I love him but he was not great when they didn't play, Milner and Lucas were the same. So we talk about that now.
"So in Hendo's ears and mind, he thought I didn't want him there. If I said Hendo would be the main man for me he would stay but I couldn't. That's why it's better he moved on. Not a bit of bad blood. [He is the] captain of the best Liverpool team in the Premier League era."
