Harry and Meghan 'value their private moments' ahead of 'romantic date night'
There are plenty of reasons for Prince Harry to smile today as he celebrates his 39th birthday at the Invictus Games with his wife Meghan Markle.
The couple have been spotted smiling and waving to the crowd as they enjoy the penultimate day of the sporting event in Dusseldorf. Harry and Meghan went for a pre-birthday night out on Thursday as they tucked into some traditional German food.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took a group of their aides for dinner at Im Goldened Kessel restaurant where they ate food such as bratwurst, red cabbage and mashed potato. The group were seen laughing as they posed for pictures with staff at the restaurant.
PR expert Kieran Elsby believes Meghan and Harry will enjoy a more intimate meal tonight as they "value their private moments". However, he said they'll likely delay any big celebrations.

However, given their busy schedules, they might choose to defer the grand celebration until their return to the US, potentially involving their, Archie and Lilibet, in the festivities to create a heart-warming family moment."

Meghan and Harry are known for giving each other meaningful gifts and Kieran believes today will be no different. "Meghan has demonstrated her knack for thoughtful and imaginative gift-giving in the past," he told us.
Kieran added: "She could opt for something profoundly personal, like a heartfelt letter, or select a gift related to one of Harry's passions or hobbies. Or perhaps, she might orchestrate a surprise getaway or a unique experience."
The couple might enjoy a romantic meal (PA)After Harry and Meghan visited Im Goldened Kessel on Thursday night, Thea Ungermann, who owns the restaurant, told MailOnline that the couple were "very happy". She also shared some pictures of the couple on Facebook.
"The couple were very relaxed, they drank our beer, Schumacher Alt - it's the same beer they are serving at the Invictus Games. Harry and Meghan sat next to each other during the meal. I had goosebumps when they walked into the restaurant, I had watched his speech on the stage at the Invictus Games and couldn't believe he was in my restaurant. Prince Harry was so lovely and gave me a hug," Thea said.
Writing on social media, she added: "So proud! Impressed by very friendly people Who enjoyed our Schumi Alt, Haxe Wiener Schnitzel, blood sausage and German sausages."
