Emmerdale autumn death 'sealed' on ITV soap — and it's 'not Chloe Harris'

Emmerdale fans think they have rumbled another death twist this autumn for the super soap week after it was reported that Chloe Harris could die.

Only recently, it was reported that Chloe could be killed in a horrifying car crash, with her vehicle plunging off a cliff in dramatic new scenes recently filmed. Nothing has been confirmed about the plot or the potential exit, but pictures from filming show Chloe injured in a car before it appears to roll off a cliff with Mackenzie Boyd and his ex-wife Charity Dingle at the scene.

However, viewers think there could be a different death this autumn and it doesn't involve Chloe. Only recently, Lydia Dingle was raped by Craig Reed in their work office. The two had recently reunited after decades apart as they had grown up in the same children's home, where Lydia fell pregnant aged 15, but tragically the baby, Toby, was stillborn and she buried him in a woodland.

During their reunion, Lydia explained everything to Craig and all about her fleeing, to which they shared a moment. As the pair got closer, Craig confessed his feelings to Lydia who was horrified and soon told him nothing could happen, and that she loved her husband Sam Dingle. However, Craig cruelly ignored this and raped her, despite her telling him she did not want to sleep with him.

Soap watchers will recall that Lydia has been in turmoil and has not told anyone about her rape ordeal, even struggling to report it to the police. Meanwhile, Craig has denied raping her and instead claimed it was consensual. In recent scenes, Lydia has been struggling especially as Craig keeps showing up and getting involved with her fmaily.

Viewers now think that Lydia could kill Craig in upcoming scenes or someone close to Lydia could kill him in revenge. Taking to social media, one person said: "I think he'll end up dead!", a different account put: "Definitely think the story with creepy Craig and Lydia will come to a conclusion next week while sams away ... actually thought be dragged on till Xmas but now wonder if Lydia kills him and Sam takes blame ?? #emmerdale."

Elsewhere, another fan wrote: "I’m starting to think that the Lydia story is starting to build up to Lydia killing him", a different viewer said: "Wait until Kim finds out what Craig did to Lydia and she’s goes after him" while another soap watcher added: "I hope Kim makes him pay! He's vile."
