Zara McDermott lets slip clue to Strictly pro partner's identity ahead of launch
Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott has teased who she will be partnered up with on the BBC series ahead of the big launch.
The former Love Island star was announced to be joining the line-up earlier this year, amongst the other names taking to the dancefloor this month. Now, fans will finally find out this weekend who she will be dancing with on the show, with her hoping to storm to victory.
Zara teased her professional dance partner to Lorraine Kelly on her show Lorraine on Friday morning, while avoiding letting slip who he was. She did say he was "amazing" before she changed the subject, and focused on her training woes. She said: "He is amazing, he's so nice.
"Training is tougher than I thought it would be. It's arms and legs and feet, all these things you have to put together in my brain all at once, but it is an amazing experience." She was also asked about any prior dance training, and quickly ruled this out while other contestants have sparked 'fix' claims.

I am very wooden, very stiff... this is a baptism of fire for me." On the news she's an early favourite to win the show, she added: "They’ve not seen me dance yet!"

Documentary host Zara will be joined on Strictly by an impressive line-up of celebrities, including Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon, Layton Williams, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Eddie Kadi and Angela Scanlon. She'll also be competing against Adam Thomas, Nikita Kanda, Ellie Leach, Jody Cundy CBE, Bobby Brazier, Nigel Harman, Annabel Croft and Les Dennis.
Just days ago, Zara teased she was "so desperate" to share with fans who she will be dancing with on the highly-anticipated live shows. The teasy message was posted alongside a selfie of her smiling broadly, suggesting she's more than pleased with who she's been matched with. "My face constantly at the moment...ready for another day. I'm so desperate to tell you all who my pro partner is," she captioned the cheeky snap shared to her Instagram stories
