Linda Nolan has shared a candid admission, revealing the "special" moments in her life as she continues to live with cancer.

The singer and presenter who found fame as one of The Nolan Sisters is currently living with secondary breast cancer which was initially in her hip but has since spread to her liver and brain. Linda, 64, recently opened up and explained that while she's previously been given the all-clear, this won't happen again.

Now, she has shared the moments that she cherishes the most after moving in with her sister, Denise Nolan. Opening up in her exclusive column for the Mirror, Linda said: "But I'm starting to realise it's the absolutely normal things – the regular life stuff – which is most special.

"Like deadheading a rose. I also get a buzz when I clear up the plates after we've all sat down on the sofas in front of the telly for dinner (OK, bear with me…). I can't stand for long but I do what I can. Clearing the plates is life. All right, not all of it, you’ve got to hope. It's just good to be living it."

The Irish songstress went on to say that despite being on day five of her chemotherapy treatment last week and suffering from stomach cramps and waking up throughout the night, she mustered the energy to have a games night with her sisters Denise and Anne, as well as several friends. Nowadays, Linda enjoys nothing more than heading out with her nearest and dearest for lunch, as well as a trip to her local park where she says they will install a blue plaque for her.

Linda's admission comes just hours after her younger sister, Coleen, 58, praised her sibling and said that she is forever in "awe" of her as she continues to put on a smile. Speaking to the Mirror, the mum-of-three said: "Certainly in public [there's a smile on her face], obviously there are nights she goes to bed and I only found this out recently but there are nights she goes I think the night times because she's totally on her own.

"You know, in your bedroom and your brain, you just overthink and I think there are the times when she has her cry and he's scared you know, but the rest of the time. She is an absolute warrior. I look at her in awe, she treats chemo like she's going to Tesco and it keeps coming back and battering her and she keeps on smiling and she still keeps getting out of bed and she bloody hates it."

The Loose Women presenter went on to add: "She hates it, she hates being bald. I think that for her that's the most dramatic thing. She's lost her hair, this is the fourth time and she's lost it again and then she gets embarrassed and she goes 'That's really of vain of me' and I'm like 'It's not'."

Linda is currently seeing positive results from her ongoing chemotherapy with the treatment slowing down the progression of her cancer.
