Logan Paul makes classless jab about Dillon Danis' father dying during face-off
Logan Paul took his pre-fight trash talking with Dillon Danis to a new low in the pair's new face-off video, drawing on his father's recent passing amid an intense argument.
The pair's feud has been ugly from day one as they continue attempting to get into one another's heads before stepping in the ring on October 14 at the AO Arena in Manchester. Danis has been relentless in his mockery of Paul's fiancee Nina Agdal to the point of being slapped with a Temporary Restraining Order against the model, with the YouTuber now deciding to hit back.
And in an effort to tap into Danis' psyche during the pair's DAZN obligation, Paul mocked his rival's obsession with social media, insisting that he was looking for validation which escapes him in the real world. During his rant, Paul noted that Danis' father had passed away, seemingly implying that played a part in his rival's behaviour.
"You life's gone downhill ever since you got kicked out of Marcelo's gym," Paul told his rival, alluding to a falling out between Danis and Marcelo Garcia, the jiu-jitsu coach who initially brought him to black belt status and international renown. "You turned to alcohol to try and drown everything out.
"Then your dad passed away, you lost your friends, you're trying to drown everything out. I empathise with you, Dillon, because I understand that Twitter right now for you is like a group therapy session. For the first time in a while you're getting a sense of validation that you have not got.

"Okay, and I understand that. If that fills the empty voids in your f***ing heart, I empathise with you. But no matter how much you talk, you're going to have to show up October 14."

Danis immediately took issue with the direction Paul was taking the conversation, attempting to interrupt him at numerous points during his clearly scripted monologue. "Yeah he did," Danis responded when his father was mentioned, before adding "talk about that and see what happens. You're trying to say you're not a scumbag but you want to talk about my dad passing?"
In October of last year, Danis shared a photo of he and his father to Instagram with the caption "Rest easy, dad, I love you". He expanded upon the situation in an interview with The Johnny Drinks Podcast, saying: "It was pretty tough, that's why before the KSI fight I was going through it, a lot of people don't know.
"I don't like to talk about it because I feel like people that complain about their life, there's so many other people that had so many worse things going on. I don't like to complain because average people go through a lot of things in their life, deal with it and come back from adversity."
