EastEnders Rocky star's exit storyline 'sealed' - pre-Xmas death and scam drama
EastEnders fans have 'worked out' how Rocky Cotton will exit the BBC soap - after Brian Conley 'quit' the show.
The BBC had reportedly been keen for Brian to stay on the soap but sources claim he had been telling his colleagues that he wanted out and he has demanded to leave as soon as possible. He is part of a huge storyline this Christmas, when the Six women - Suki, Kathy, Denise, Stacey, Linda and Sharon - are all seen crowding around a dead man's body.
Whilst there is a hint he could be the Christmas body to facilitate his exit quicker, fans are convinced there are other exit storylines in store for the character in order to get Brian out of the soap as soon as he'd like.
The Mirror have taken a look at all the ways Rocky could leave Walford for good including a shock death as well as health drama.
Pre-Christmas death

As one fan suggested, "Due to this exit, they’re likely going to have to make him the Christmas body," others were quick to say that probably wouldn't be the case and are convinced he would have to exit in another way. Another viewer responded: "It’s got nothing to do with how obvious it would be to be frank, it’s more so a scramble to kill his character off in a hurry so he can leave."
Giving their suggestions, one thought he might die in the fire in the café, which happens this autumn. "Maybe he dies in café fire," one suggested, whilst another added: "This confirms it won’t be Rocky at Christmas then. If they decided to make it Rocky due to his exit surely they would keep him quitting a secret." A third penned: "We’re all very sad, doubt it will be him as the body."
Health drama
Brian has been on the BBC soap since 2021, but could it all end for his character Rocky with some sort of health issue. Some viewers believe Rocky could suffer some sort of surprise heart attack, allowing him to exit the show quickly.

Some believe it could be a heart attack that sees him die.
"That’s a shame. This can’t have been intended, he’s clearly not supposed to be the Christmas victim. So they’re going to have to introduce either a breaking up with Kathy storyline or a heart attack storyline on top of whatever they had planned for Christmas. I suspect it’ll be the latter," one viewer penned online as they gave their opinion.
Scam plan
With Rocky doing everything to be with Kathy, some viewers believe he might still hold an allegiance with his ex Jo Cotton, and is planning to scam Kathy for thousands of pounds. They believe his 'plan' could be a good way of him heading away from the Square.

Jo appeared on Kathy and Rocky's wedding day to reveal they weren't actually divorced and he couldn't go through with the wedding.
Some viewers were sure she'd done that deliberately to make things tricky for Rocky, but could they be working together?
Huge split
Some viewers believe he could disappear from Walford after splitting up with Kathy. Given that he and Kathy just got married, it could only be a split that sees him leave Kathy for good, and a way to get Rocky to head away from Albert Square. However, some fans are concerned how that might impact Kathy's character going forward.
One fan wrote on Reddit: "This is such a shame, I really thought that Rocky and Kathy were a good match (at least once Jo was out of the picture). This has bad implications for Kathy's character considering she put up the chippy for sale for this man. Plus I was enjoying seeing Kathy do things other than butter toast at the café. Of course she's part of the six so she'll definitely continue to have a presence on the show, but her having a partner gives her a chance to do things other than be a mum and grandma to the Beales."
