Days after his tribute to the Queen without Meghan Markle, Harry flashes a wide smile with his Invictus volunteers.

After touching down in Düsseldorf on Friday, Prince Harry is later expected to be joined by his wife Meghan to watch the Invictus games. The prince, wearing a black polo with the Invictus Games logo, posed for a group photo with volunteer categorizers, which was shared on the Invictus Games' X's, formerly Twitter, page.

The caption read: "The Duke of Sussex dropped in this morning to meet with our international group of volunteer categories!" This group, led by @weareinvictus, conduct all assessments of the competitors at the #InvictusGames to facilitate fair competition in recovery."

Johnny Ball, the founder of CampaignForce, also shared a group photo, the caption read: "With the main man himself. Without this guy, our relationship with how we view our veterans would be all the worse. Thank you for giving us the Invictus Games. Thank you for helping me find me again. Thank you."

Yesterday Harry attended a vigil at the late Queen's resting place on the first anniversary of her death. Harry, 38, was pictured looking emotional as he emerged from St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. He reportedly spent time alone to commemorate his deceased grandmother and grandfather.

After his vigil, Harry flew from Heathrow to Germany and checked into the €1,600-a-night Presidential suite at the Hyatt Regency hotel. He will open his Invictus Games today and Meghan, 42, is expected to join him there on Monday. Attendees are unsure what role his wife Meghan will play in the theatrics of the games. An official guide to the games showed the Duchess of Sussex would "take to the stage" for the closing ceremony, according to MailOnline. Meghan was reportedly due to host a segment about the competitors, but sources claim the information was included in error.

It comes after Harry spoke about the Queen at the WellChild charity gala in West London on Thursday on a trip to the UK. This news comes after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been snubbed by the palace after they were allegedly "left out" of an all-new royal documentary to celebrate King Charles III.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 when they decided to scale back on their roles and move to the United States of America. The couple moved from Windsor, England to Montecito, California more than three years ago, with the couple starting lives of their own with their two kids.
