Loose Women's Linda Robson sends show into chaos after swearing live on air

Loose Women star Linda Robson brought the show into chaos after she swore live on air leaving lead panelist Charlene White to apologise on her behalf.

Linda's blunder came during a segment of the show where she was giving away a rather large cash prize, dressed as an old woman and named Nanny Linda. But, as she wheeled out the £1million cash prize to introduce the competition, she accidentally dropped the F-word live on air.

Amid gasps of shock from the rest of the panel, not to mention Linda's clear shock, host and former ITV news presenter Charlene White issued a apology to viewers. She said: "I would like to apologise for Linda's language."

But Brenda Edwards was still in disbelief as she held her hand up to her mouth in shock. Usually, viewers would have already penned their disapproval on social media by now but it looks as though the much loved star of the ITV daytime show, 65, has instead made viewers chuckle. One wrote on Twitter: "Another cracker of a show today on @loosewomen. Always great when Jane McDonald makes an appearance, Linda Robson swearing with @RealDeniseWelch almost caught out."

Another commented: "Linda robson swearing on loose women has just made my day." And a third took to the social media platform and said: "Haha!!! Linda Robson dropping the F-BOMB live on air!" But this is not the first time that the former Birds Of A Feather star has let an expletive slip while on the show.

Last year Linda forced her Loose Women co-star to apologise on air after she swore leaving everyone in a state of shock. The star arrived on set later than the other panelists in the final part of the show's Halloween special. As she made her entrance, she accidentally knocked over what was in front of her and exclaimed: " Oh s***t", before looking sheepish.

And it was Kaye Adams who was prompted to make an on air apology for the star. Linda is perhaps no stranger to a scandal. In May, the panelist was forced to shut down rumours of trouble in her marriage after she was spotted on holiday without her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford.

She told The Sun: "That’s a load of rubbish. We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage." She added: "We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment."

And another rumour that was circulating at the time was her fractured relationship with former Birds Of A Feather co-star Pauline Quirke. In the same interview, she added: "We’re best mates. We’ve been best mates since we were 10 years old. It really upsets me every time I meet someone who goes, ‘Oh you fell out’. No, we haven’t fallen out. I see her all the time, she comes to my house, I go to her house."
