Messi and wife Antonela finally joined by familiar face after Inter Miami move
Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela have finally been joined by an old friend as a familiar face made the trip to join the growing ex-Barcelona contingent in Miami.
The couple have quickly adapted to life in America after leaving Europe for a new chapter in the Sunshine State. With the Argentine icon having already inspired his new team to trophy glory after scoring 11 times in his first 10 outings, it already looks an inspired move.
To help him settle, the 37-year-old legend has been joined at his new club by two former Camp Nou teammates in the form of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. However, one notable absence from this close-knit group until now has been the latter's wife Romarey Ventura.
The former Spain captain's spouse gave birth to a baby boy just days before the couple were due to move to the US and so her arrival in the country has been delayed. However, the family have finally been reunited in Florida, although it is not clear when she touched down.
The pair, who share three children, wasted no time in getting used to their new surroundings together at Baires Grill Weston restaurant in Vice City on Aug. 31. In a picture released by the couple on Instagram, they posted a snap from the evening with the caption: 'Together'.

Earlier in the week, Romarey also posted an image with Messi's wife Antonela, as well as Sergio Busquets' wife Elena, as the trio caught up with each other. This time around, the picture was accompanied by the caption 'reunited' as Antonela commented: "I love them so much".
The group have been pictured socialising in the Floridan coastal city in Romarey's absence on various occasions during the previous couple of months. On one occasion, they dined with Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham as well as Spice Girls icon Victoria Beckham at David Grutman's Miami steakhouse.

Messi and his family also enjoyed a low-key dinner at Italian eatery Cafe Prima Pasta during the early weeks of his US stint.
It is likely that the Alba family will have the opportunity to spend a lot more precious time of their own together in the coming years after the defender retired from international football. He called time on his time as captain of his home nation after making 93 appearances and winning the Euros in 2012.
On the pitch, the introduction of former Blaugrana mainstays Messi, Alba and Busquets to the Inter Miami team has paid dividends. The team is yet to be beaten since they signed for the club and they have already won a trophy in the form of the Leagues Cup.
