Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford shamed by his wife Paige in underwear snap

Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford has been shamed by his wife in a 'racy' snap of the TV star in his boxers.

The father-of-two, 28, who shot to fame on the Channel 4 show with his sister Sophie in 2017, usually keeps his life with Paige and their kids pretty low key on social media. However, he couldn't resist sharing a photo his wife had taken in which he sports a pair of blue Calvin Klein underpants - which are full of holes.

Poking fun at her husband, who has his back to the camera in the snap, the mum-of-two penned: "More holes than a sieve" to which Pete joked: "Get another couple of years out of them!".

The telly star became a dad for the second time earlier this year and looked delighted when his daughter made her TV debut during the series finale of Gogglebox in June. The episode may have been the last one of the 21st series before the summer break, but it ended on a joyful note after the proud dad shared the news his son Jimmy had a baby sister.

As viewers got a look at the Blackpool native's newborn daughter, Pete revealed her adorable name on the show. While sister Sophie was putting on the washing, he shouted: "Hey Sophie, did I tell you Evie's full name? She's going to be Evie Sylvie Sandiford." Earlier in the series, Pete told his son Jimmy that he was set to become a big brother, teasing: "Jimbers, you're going to have a little brother or sister coming. You're going to have to milk it."

The fan favourite is not afraid to express his emotions and was visibly upset earlier on Gogglebox after watching Channel 4's The Piano alongside younger sister Sophie. The programme, hosted By Claudia Winkleman, showed the search for four of the UK's top amateur pianists. Each episode saw a different pianist perform in an open setting with the winner getting to play at the Royal Festival Hall.

When Pete watched the show, a blind and neurodiverse teenager, Lucy, played Chopin at Leeds station, and it struck a chord with the reality star, who broke down in tears as he listened to the jaw-dropping rendition of the classical piece. Watching the incredible performance, a red-eyed Pete turned to his sister and said: "It's a nice bit of music, isn't it?" However, it wasn't long before his trademark cheeky humour came back though when the performance ended, as he quipped: "I'd be getting a little hat on the floor here, cashing in on a couple of quid."
