Melania Trump's modeling career from posing nude aboard a plane to sultry snaps

Donald Trump married his wife Melania Trump in 2005, but in recent weeks and months, speculation has circled the couple's romance amid divorce claims and other reports.

The former US Apprentice boss, who recently surrendered himself to cops in Atlanta, Georgia, met Slovenian-American model and businesswoman Melania in 1998. They then became engaged in 2004 before marrying a year later. Melania, who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021, then welcomed the couple's son, Barron Trump, in 2006.

But before 53-year-old Melania became Mrs Trump, she was an esteemed model, with her gracing the pages of many magazines around the world such as GQ and Vanity Fair. And having worked with the likes of photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and Helmut Newton, Melania was a well-known and highly successful model.

Her career began when she was only five years of age, before she then started to do commercial work when she hit the age of 16. Her first bit of commercial work saw her pose for Slovenian fashion photographer Stane Jerko, and then two years down the line when she turned 18, Melania was signed up by a Milan-based modeling agency.

Her career in the mid-nineties saw her model for fashion houses in Paris and Milan, and then in 1995 her big break was put into motion when she met a co-owner of Metropolitan Models, Paolo Zampolli. Paolo was on a scouting trip in Europe and after meeting Melania, he urged the Slovenian beauty to travel to America. The following year Melania then moved to Manhattan and shared a flat with a photographer pal while forging a name for herself in the industry.

Melania has appeared on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar in Bulgaria and Vanity Fair in Italy, with one of her most famous modeling jobs being for GQ in 2000. For the men's style magazine, Melania posed nude for a very racy yet lavish cover where she posed up a storm while aboard her now-husband's custom-fitted Boeing 727 prior to them getting wed or even engaged.

This follows on from the former President of the United States of America surrendering himself in Georgia after his latest indictment. It has since been noted that his wife has been entirely out of sight and nowhere to be seen whatsoever amid his legal woes, with us taking a deep-dive into their relationship earlier this week.
