First Dates star Laura Tott gives birth and announces baby boy's sweet name

First Dates waitress Laura Tott has welcomed a baby boy into the world and announced his arrival in a sweet Instagram post.

The waitress who subsequently trained as a paramedic, revealed the happy news on Tuesday night as she shared a sweet clip of her son in his cot to the backdrop of Eva Cassidy's Songbird. Leo was dressed in a white romper with an elephant design and wrapped in a blanket. She captioned the post: "He’s here.. Leo Clarke 28/08/23."

Leo is the first child for Laura and her husband who she married last year on the beach at sunset in Devon. The First Dates waitress has kept her husband's identity a secret.

Laura's followers congratulated the new mum as Kerry Katona commented: "Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations," while Laura's sister added: "Welcome to world, you perfect little bean. your auntie is going to love you so hard, for the rest of forever."

Other well-wishers shared their congratulations was one fan wrote: "Congratulations my huni. Welcome to the world little man. Hope mummy and baby boy are doing well," and another shared: "Beautiful Leo I’m so happy for you both xxxx."

"Just gorgeous. Awww @lauratott__ song bird was the music I had playing when I was walking down to aisle on my wedding day. Xxx congratulations to you both," someone else shared and a fourth added: "I remember meeting you in stoke while you were working as a paramedic. Beautiful on TV and in person. Massive congratulations he's gorgeous."

Laura shared her announcement on her Instagram story as well as clips of family members meeting the latest addition to the family. She reposted a sweet video of her sister holding Leo with the caption: "Welcome to the world, little one.. Your auntie is going to love you forever and ever."

She later added a picture of Leo sleeping with the caption: "Thank you so much for every single message. Can't believe he is here, a little earlier than expected. He is absolutely perfect and we are beyond smitten in our newborn bubble."

Laura shot to fame as a waitress on Channel 4's First Dates before revealing in 2020 that she had trained as a paramedic.
