Meghan Markle gets 'emotional support' from pals after Harry's 'stress concerns'
Meghan Markle is said to be leaning on her pals amid claims her husband Prince Harry is concerned about her stress levels, with one expert explaining why friends are so important.
The Duchess of Sussex is thought to have been having a tough time over the past few months and was recently spotted wearing a wellness patch which is loved by Hollywood A-listers. The drug-free treatment boosts gaba neurotransmitters, reduces stress hormones and improves sleep, according to its makers NuCalm.
Meghan's also been bonding with her girl pals to try and overcome her stressors. Relationship expert Louella Alderson told The Mirror Meghan will likely be feeling stressed as a result of "the pressures she faces in her everyday life".
She said: "The constant media scrutiny and public opinion can be exhausting and can take its toll. Plus, lots of Meghan and Harry's deals have fallen through recently, so it's no surprise that she has been leaning on her friends for support."

She explained: "When faced with challenges, friends can offer emotional and practical support. They can provide comfort, empathy, understanding and solidarity in difficult times."

She explained that Meghan's friends will be ensuring she doesn't feel alone in her struggles. The expert, who co-founded the So Syncd dating app, added: "Friends can often offer unique perspectives that help us see things from different angles and come up with solutions that we may not have thought of on our own."
As she tries to overcome her stress, Meghan has been spotted hanging out with friends at a Taylor Swift concert. She also took a trip to watch Barbie in the cinema and enjoyed a nice lunch with her pals.

She added: "Fun activities and distractions with friends can help take our minds off the situation and provide us with an emotional breather. In Meghan's case, her friends are likely providing a much-needed break from the everyday grind."
Louella continued: "During difficult times, we may experience a range of emotions, including fear, sadness, or frustration. Friends create an environment where we can freely express ourselves without judgment.
"Sharing our struggles with friends allows us to release pent-up emotions, gain perspective, and find solace in their support. With Meghan Markle being in the public eye, it will be hard for her to truly trust people. This makes the really close friends she has all the more important and valuable."
Meghan will have a different relationship with her friends than with Harry (Getty Images)Louella also said Meghan will have a different type of relationships with her friends than with Harry. She explained: "Friendships offer a unique set of benefits and experiences that romantic relationships may not be able to fully provide. While both types of relationships are valuable and enriching in their own ways, friendships often offer certain qualities and dynamics that can be distinct from romantic partnerships."
She added: "Friendships also tend to be more casual and relaxed than romantic relationships, which can create a sense of comfort and security. Due to the lack of expectation or pressure in friendships, you may feel more at ease opening up about certain things that you wouldn't share with your partner."
The expert told us: "Ultimately, both friendships and romantic partnerships have their own special qualities that bring different kinds of value to our lives. While romantic relationships are important, strong friendships can be just as beneficial and rewarding.
"They provide a safe haven where we can feel truly ourselves and have someone to rely on in all circumstances. It's no wonder why Meghan Markle has turned to her friends for support during these difficult times."
