Meghan Markle showed that she likes to keep her two children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, close to her at all times with the sweet necklace she has in tribute to them.

The 14ct yellow gold pendant reportedly set the Duchess of Sussex back by $1,700 (£1,350) as she was seen sporting the necklace on her friend's Instagram Story. In the snap, Meghan is happy and smiling as she embraces her friends Kadi Lee and Cleo Wade.

Many were focused on her missing engagement ring but a source claimed the ring is "being fixed", hence the fact that it was missing from her ring finger. Meanwhile, others spotted the sweet tribute accessory around her neck.

The design is by Ariel Gordon and it is a custom piece, having been engraved with the names of her two children. According to reports, the brand is highly recognised among other celebrities such as Beyoncé, Kate Winslet, Gigi Hadid and Jessica Alba.

A statement from the brand confirmed Meghan's tribute: "Our Imperial Disc Pendant is an elegant version of our best-selling Signet Medallion Necklace that Ariel designed when she wanted a necklace that could bear the names of her two children. Evoking a 1970s castaway vibe."

The tribute comes as Meghan has reportedly been having a rough go of it these past few months, and her close friends have been a "lifeline" amid reported concerns from her husband Prince Harry about her stress levels. Her struggles were made somewhat public when she was seen sporting a stress patch.

She was pictured wearing what looked like a wellness disc that is loved by Hollywood stars. Now a source has revealed that the Duchess is "really struggling with the sheer scale of stress and the weight of responsibility that's on her shoulders," which has caused growing concerns for Harry, who recently took to Asia without his wife.

However, insiders have reassured readers that Meghan has been "bonding with her LA pals" in Harry's absence, as she was seen attending a Taylor Swift concert and hanging out with neighbour Portia De Rossi the wife of Ellen DeGeneres.

"Meghan's pals have been a lifeline during this time. She has other coping tools like meditation and yoga, plus she exercises most days, but she's also started to lean on her friends a lot more," the source told Closer. "She's feeling quite needy because there's so much uncertainty at the moment."
