Arsenal have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs this summer - but are set to focus the final nine days of the transfer window on outgoings.

The Gunners have spent around £200million on new players in Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, David Raya and Kai Havertz - the second most in English football behind Chelsea. Although Mikel Arteta could add more to his squad, his focus is set to be on departures before the end of the window.

Folarin Balogun, Kieran Tierney and Albert Sambi Lokonga are among those that could leave the Gunners before the September 1 deadline. Meanwhile, Cedric Soares and Nicolas Pepe are also facing uncertain futures after failing to feature at Arsenal so far this term.

With that in mind, here are the latest rumours from the Emirates Stadium.

Positive discussions have continued between the two clubs over a move for Balogun after Monaco saw a bid in the region of £34m rejected by Arsenal two weeks ago. However, it is understood Balogun is keen on a move to Chelsea after the Blues expressed an interested in the forward.

Fulham are also interested in the 22-year-old, who enjoyed a breakout season on loan at Reims last term. Inter Milan has earlier appeared keen but turned their attention elsewhere.

Lokonga a target for Brighton

Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has emerged as a target for Brighton, according to 90min.

The Seagulls are looking to strengthen in midfield after selling Moises Caicedo to Chelsea for a Premier League record sum. The Belgian is one of a number of targets for Roberto De Zerbi's side, who have also pushed for Cameroonian youngster Carlos Baleba.

Brighton lost another midfielder earlier in the summer when Alexis Mac Allister joined Liverpool, though they have been able to add Mahmoud Dahoud and James Milner to their ranks.

Lokonga joined Arsenal from Anderlecht in 2021, playing 24 times in his first season. He struggled for minutes last term, though, ending the season on loan at Crystal Palace.

Lazio keen on Guendouzi

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri wants to bring Matteo Guendouzi to Italy, according to Il Messagero, according to the Evening Standard.

Arsenal are expected to receive a sell-on fee if the Frenchman moves to Lazio from current club Marseille. Guendouzi joined Marseille on a permanent basis last summer after impressing on loan.

It is suggested that Guendouzi’s current club Marseille want to receive €15m (£12.7m) for his signature. The now 24-year-old could well have been back in the Premier League previously, with former Arsenal boss and current Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery keen on a reunion.

The Midlands side made a bid for Guendouzi back in January but failed to agree a deal with Marseille. It was expected that Villa would renew their interest but links have since grown quiet.
