Britney Spears introduces 'new addition to the family' after split from husband
Britney Spears introduced fans to "the new addition to the family [sic]" on social media this week, with the post in question having included footage of a dog playing beside her.
The singer, 41, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video that seemingly introduced a dog called Snow to her followers on the platform. It consisted of different clips, including one that showed the canine running around.
Alongside the compilation video on the platform, Britney wrote in the accompanying caption: "Introducing Snow ... the new edition to the family ... it's her world and we just live in it [sic]" She included a series of facepalming emojis.

She suggested that the canine is called Snow (britneyspears/Instagram)The footage - which featured singer Zazie's song J'envoie Valser - began by showing a dog running around, seemingly beneath Britney's feet. The four-legged companion is then shown being picked up and shown to the camera.
A subsequent clip in the compilation showed the dog walking across a bed, with Britney seemingly lying near the pooch. She seems to play with the dog for a moment and also gives it a dummy at one point in the footage.

It's unclear when Britney got the dog in the video. A phone screen in the footage however appears to show the date as a Wednesday in June, suggesting that the Grammy Award winner hasn't just got the four-legged companion.

It's unclear if the dog in the video is included in that group.
TMZ reports that Sam has full-time custody of Doberman Porsha. Whilst Britney is said to have custody of Australian Shepherd Sawyer, her Yorkshire Terrier Hannah, and two other smaller dogs. The outlet said that it's heard that both Sam and Britney are happy with the custody arrangement.
The reports about an alleged custody arrangement comes following the news that the former couple have separated. Britney and Sam have separately confirmed the news, with her having addressed the situation recently.
