Emmerdale's Nate actor teases danger ahead as Caleb's 'link' to Harry exposed

Emmerdale star Jurell Carter has teased big trouble ahead for his character Nate Robinson, as he crosses villain Harry next week on the ITV soap.

Nate and his uncle Caleb Miligan face danger, as the truth about Harry's recent dodgy dealings comes to light – and it becomes apparent Caleb knows all about Harry in a twist. Nate recently started working at the car firm Caleb owns, with Nate landing a job with old friend Corey.

But things took a turn when Corey dragged Nate into the dodgy dealings going on behind-the-scenes with criminal Harry, which Caleb knows nothing about. Next week, Nate finally tells Caleb the truth to put a stop to it all but it leaves himself and Caleb in peril, it seems. Now, actor Jurell has teased the big scenes for his character and what might happen next. It's revealed in the episodes that Caleb already knows who Harry is in a surprising link, making Nate realise just how much trouble he is in.

Speaking about the scenes, he said: "He’s feeling very under pressure. Initially it was a tempting offer to earn extra money especially after recently leaving his job at the farm due to the job-share situation. But he’s realised he’s in too deep with these dodgy drops and knows it can only end badly."

He went on: "I think Nate understands to put an end to all this madness with the dealings with Harry and any future dodgy drops, he knows he has to take charge and clean the place up as Nate suggests in a scene with Corey. But he’s also torn because at the end of the day it’s his old school friend who initially, actually tried to help Nate with a job and now it’s just a very awkward situation telling him that he’s no longer in charge because Nate’s now the manager."

On Caleb's link to Harry, Jurell teased: "Caleb is fuming, Nate tells him everything. Including the dodgy dealings that he and Corey have been involved in with Harry and the fact he’s literally just caught Corey with a bag of guns. And that he’s stashed them. Caleb is angry but also disappointed because he thought he could trust Nate. And he’s let him down massively. It’s also the first time we realise how serious this Harry guy is. As Caleb mentions, 'if it’s the Harry I know of, he’s not someone you want to mess with,' this is a further crushing blow to Nate’s world. He knows he’s in massive trouble."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
