Lionesses coach Sarina Wiegman’s personal life off pitch with beloved family
Lionesses coach Sarina Wiegman has led the England women's team to football success as they won the Euros last year and now approach the World Cup final.
The 53-year old coach from the Netherlands has made history with the female football team after their triumphant win against Germany during the Euro final last year and if the Lionesses do it again in today's final then they could be set to break records again. Outside of her coaching responsibilities, Sarina is happily married to husband Marten Glotzbach and has two daughters. We've looked at her personal life away from penalties, shoot outs and coaching the Lionesses...

Sarina has been married to husband Marten Glotzbach, who she is believed to have met through their mutual football careers.
Marten is also in sport and is a qualified football coach as well as holding a bachelor's degree in marketing and commerce and exploring economics before he took up a teaching role. For the past 22 years he has been an economics professor teaching at Sebroek College in the Netherlands. Alongside his professor responsibilities, he also helps to plan football matches for the education institute's football teams.
Marten can empathise with the high pressure his wife Sarina faces as a coach to a national team, as he was previously the head coach of the Netherlands Women's national team. In fact, he and Sarina worked alongside each other before she took over as the England head coach in September 2021.

Marten and Sarina are parents to two daughters Sacha and Lauren, which they keep firmly out of the public eye. Glimpses of Sarina and her daughters are rare but she did share a family Christmas snap at Christmas in 2020 as the family of four beamed for the camera alongside their adorable family dog.
Sarina wrote: "What a year it's been... living differently, work differently, no fans in the stadiums. We missed you so much! Health is not self-evident, that has become even more clearer in 2020. I wish you a very merry Christmas and a very beautiful sporty, and happy 2021."

As a mum and wife, Sarina keeps a lot of her life private preferring only to be interviewed on football topics and discuss the success of the Lionesses as they continue to win matches.
The superstar coach did share a family snap from a summer holiday last year after the amazing win from the Lionesses after they won the UEFA European Women's Championship. In a sweet selfie alongside husband Marten on the beach, Sarina wrote: "Family time! Different mode than two weeks ago but still enjoying all the amazing footage that’s passing by..."
