Gary Lineker surprises fans with X-rated Bruno Fernandes Twitter comment
Gary Lineker left fans on social media in stitches with a mischievous post about Bruno Fernandes during Manchester United's 2-0 defeat against Tottenham.
Lineker was taking in the match between United and Spurs on Saturday evening and was left purring following a moment of individual brilliance from Fernandes, who pulled off a slick rabona during the first-half of the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
And Lineker's X-rated post in reaction to Fernandes' trick went down a storm with fans on X. The Match of the Day host quipped: "That rabona from Bruno was so good it gave me a boner….which is quite something at my age."
Social media star KSI was quick to pick up on Lineker's cheeky post and fired back: "You gotta be hacked" complete with a laughing emoji. Lineker responded playfully, posting: "Nah, I just wish it was".
While Fernandes' superb rabona cross - and Lineker's hilarious reaction - caught the eye on X ( Twitter ), there was little goalmouth action during the first half of Saturday evening's match.
Marcel Sabitzer completes Man Utd transfer after last-minute deadline day dash
The game did burst into life after the break though when Pape Matar Sarr broke the deadlock in style after ghosting into the Manchester United penalty area in the 49th minute.
And things went from bad to worse for United when a calamitous own goal sealed the points for the hosts in the final stages of the match, as Lisandro Martinez inadvertently diverted Ivan Perisic's weak cross past a stranded Andre Onana.

Saturday's result is a setback for Erik ten Hag's side, who were less than convincing in their narrow opening day win over Wolves on Monday. United again flattered to deceive against Spurs, who are adapting to life without their talisman, Harry Kane, after selling the England striker to Bayern Munich last week.
It was a frustrating afternoon on a personal level for Fernandes, with United's new captain also picking up a booking in the second half from referee Michael Oliver after complaining about a decision that went against his side.
Manchester United will be aiming to bounce back quickly next weekend when they host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. The Red Devils could also be active in the transfer market before their next game, with Ten Hag believed to be in the market for a midfielder.
