Emmerdale's Lydia in danger as Craig's true identity unveiled in sinister twist
Lydia Dingle has welcomed former lover Craig Reed back into her life but Emmerdale fans are convinced she needs to be wary of the village newcomer.
Emmerdale viewers will remember Lydia confessed to burying her stillborn baby in a forest near the children's home she grew up in, which subsequently became the grounds for the local school. The baby's father, Craig has now come back into Lydia's life after previously not seeing her since she was 15 and using her birth name Jenny.
ITV soap spoilers have confirmed Sam Dingle will feel increasingly pushed out by his wife's friendship with Craig but, fans are certain Lydia should fear her former lover.
One concerned fan tweeted: "#Emmerdale is Craig Lydia’s stalker? He rocks up at her home. Sam won’t be pleased," and another wrote: "Craig - you just know he's going to end up in the padded cell next to Colin #Emmerdale." Another said: "Craig who hasn't seen Lydia ( or Jenny as he knows her by) for 33 years now he seems obsessed with her. What are his real intentions?" The fan later added: "Craig is giving Stalker vibes. #Emmerdale."

In upcoming scenes, Lydia decides to take her childhood sweetheart up on his job offer after talking things through with Sam. Her stepson Samson is soon in awe of Craig when he spots his flash car.
Lydia and Craig reconnect over their childhood in a children's home (ITV)Samson’s impressed to learn Craig’s company made one of his favourite phone games and asks Lydia to get him some work experience, which Craig subsequently arranges for him. Samson is delighted while Sam feels insignificant and his discomfort only increases when Craig turns up at the house and meets Samson. The pair end up bonding as they fix the guttering Sam had neglected to finish leaving the Dingle stalwart feeling pushed out.
