Britney Spears 'set for tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey' amid 'split'

Britney Spears could reveal all about her alleged split from Sam Asghari in a tell-all interview with Hollywood host Oprah Winfrey.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the Toxic singer would sit down with Oprah to discuss her upcoming bombshell memoir which is set to be released on October 24th after it was delayed. Now, Britney, 41, and the burgeoning actor, 29, are reported to have called time on their one-year marriage.

While neither has addressed the rumours, a source said that a heated argument broke out about between the pair. Britney has been photographed driving near their LA home without her wedding ring, and snaps of Sam on his Instagram show he's also ditched his.

Amid her recent split from Sam, it's possible that Britney could share her side of the story during the interview with Oprah, who has had similar bombshell interviews with A-Listers such as Tom Cruise, Rihanna and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Sam is said to have moved out of the marital home he shared with Britney after a "nuclear" argument. An insider told TMZ: "It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce." Sam allegedly approached Britney about cheating rumours.

Previous reports claims that Britney's sit down interview was set to coincide with the book's release, although these rumours have also been slammed by a different source. One outlet claims that Britney could even sit down with Oprah Winfrey for the tell-all chat, should it happen.

Should the singer sit down for a chat with interview royalty, it would be the first televised chat since she was released from her conservatorship in November 2021. And although one source has said that she is considering a televised chat, another squashed the rumours and spoke of Britney's "trauma" following her ordeal and how a TV chat could be "problematic" for the star.

The US Sun have exclusively reported that television networks and online streaming platforms have been keen to sign Britney up for a tell-all interview, with eye-watering sums of money offered to the 41-year-old singer. The source also spilled that Oprah is among those who have reached out regarding a potential interview. Oprah allegedly reaching out to the star isn't the first time that she has done so, because in 2021 she did but was declined the opportunity, according to reports.

Although offers are said to be coming in thick and fast, a different source denied any rumours of a televised TV interview, with them saying that the TV proposal "remains complicated" for Britney who "continues to face challenges speaking to strangers at length about intimate aspects of her life".
