Harry and Meghan will 'capitalise' off tributes to the Queen, says royal expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing ruthless claims that they will "capitalise" off tributes to the late Queen Elizabeth II amid the upcoming anniversary of her death.
Queen Elizabeth the Second died on the 8th September 2022, and as the anniversary of her death approaches, royal experts discussed what the royal family would do to pay tribute to their former matriarch. Sources exclusively revealed to us that the Prince and Princess of Wales will lead the tributes to the late Queen on the first anniversary of her death.
But royal commentator Anna McGovern is convinced Harry and Meghan will "take away" from the official occasion with their input.
Princes William and Kate Middleton will deliver a public message honouring the life and legacy of her majesty and will also use the occasion to “look forward” to the future. Meanwhile the King is expected to mark the anniversary “quietly and privately” at Balmoral in Scotland where she died aged 96.

"I think that they will take any opportunity to make anything about themselves, which I think completely misses the point about what the occasion is about," she ranted. "I think that they will capitalise so much off of it, it'll be front page news and it'll take away from the official occasion that the royals are gathering to honour."
Anna added: "I would not be surprised that Harry and Meghan would not find any opportunity to make something about themselves."

But Palace sources said there were “no plans” for any public event or private family gathering attended by all of them. The King, who this month began his summer in Scotland, will receive family members to Balmoral shortly.
