Jess Harding has confessed she underwent a “belly tuck” procedure after winning Love Island.
The former beauty salon owner scooped the £50,000 prize with boyfriend Sammy Root when they were crowned winners of the ITV2 dating series last month, and has since spoken about the weight she gained while in the villa.
The 22-year-old faced cruel comments from viewers over her choice of dress for the Love Island final, with her white cowl neck slip gown criticised as “looking like a bin liner” by online trolls.
Jess was forced to hit back at the negativity surrounding her appearance on the show, and during a Q&A on Instagram, she said she had been “just eating and not moving around” while filming the hit show in the Spanish villa.

She surprised fans with her decisionOne of her fans told her she “looked fab” since winning Love Island, and asked if she’d lost weight, prompting Jess to reveal she’d undergone a cosmetic procedure to help her shift the pounds.

“No, I put weight on when I was in the villa. We were just eating and not moving around, just sitting in the sun,” she explained in her answer to her follower’s question, and then shared a video of her undergoing the belly tuck.
In the clip, Jess can be seen laid down with a belt and machine wrapped around her stomach, and she showed before and after shots of the non-surgical procedure on TikTok.
“You don't need a belly tuck you're beautiful,” one fan commented on the video, with many others surprised by Jess’s decision to have the belly tuck.

She insisted the dress made her look bigger than she wasThe blonde beauty was forced to defend her body after she faced hurtful comments from viewers, and said the dress she wore for the Love Island final made her “look bigger than what I am”.
“It wasn't very nice to read, but I think I looked alright for the rest of the Love Island time… I'm not losing any sleep over it. The dress was ruched at the side. It didn't sit quite right on my boobs so it made me look bigger than what I am – I've actually got a diddy little waist. But you can't have boobs and a bum and not hips,” she told OK! in a joint interview with boyfriend Sammy.
Jess was overwhelmed with the support she’s received since winning the show, and wanted to maintain her natural figure after Sammy revealed he “loved” her curves.
“I'm sure if I went fishing for the negativity it would be there, but the support is crazy. I didn't actually realise how many people love me,” she laughed.
