Those embarking on a weight loss journey will often assume they'll have to wave goodbye to any sweet treats and yummy desserts, but this doesn't necessarily have to be the case. As demonstrated by one smart-thinking mum, there are ways to enjoy all the lip-smacking flavours of your favourite pud, without getting off track.

According to TikTok user Arianna Noel, she recently had a craving for Cold Stone, a chain of ice cream parlours based in the US. Wanting to stick to her hard-won progress, she decided to whip up an apparently scrumptious alternative version of the creamery's beloved dessert, which still satisfied her sweet tooth for under 200 calories.

In a recent TikTok video, Arianna, who regularly shares "simple swaps" for food and make-up with her followers, explained: "I really wanted Cold Stone the other day but didn't want to throw my progress off track."

Showing off a bowl of brownies and ice cream, Arianna, who goes by the username @ariannalnoel, revealed that she'd lost 64lbs and that this low-calorie dessert is currently her "favourite". Demonstrating how she put the pudding together, Arianna took "two-thirds [of a ] cup" (158g) of Breyers' CarbSmart vanilla ice cream and popped this in a bowl.

Sweet-toothed Arianna then reached for a 70-calorie Fiber One brownie and crumbled it "all over the top", before grabbing a bottle of Hershey's syrup, declaring, "we are not stopping here because I would bathe myself in chocolate if I could".

She added: "We're putting a tablespoon of this Hershey's syrup, zero sugar, no aspartame, which I love. We're going to drizzle that on top, and bam, you've got a brownie batter Cold Stone replica."

Arianna's followers were left thoroughly impressed by just how tempting the finished dupe looked, hailing Arianna as a "genius" and vowing to try it for themselves.

One person commented: "Omg yum!! Saving to buy all these ingredients tomorrow," while another wrote: "I've been doing this for five years! I warm the brownie up. It's so good! The only ice cream I eat too!," and a third person applauded: "Such a simple idea! Love!"
