Bob Hope lashes out after a recent affair scandal, that saw his partner Wendy Posner cheat on him with Liam Cavanagh. As Bob takes aim at Liam next week, the stress gets too much for him and he ends up suffering a heart attack- but will he survive?

Emmerdale will air some dramatic scenes next week as one character suffers a heart attack and is rushed to hospital. Things have been tricky on the ITV soap recently, especially for Bob, who was horrified to find out his partner Wendy was having an affair. She had been sneaking around with her colleague Liam, but the truth was finally unveiled when Bernice rumbled their secret.
Next week in the Dales, Bob is still struggling with what Wendy has done to him. She decides she needs to leave her job, and heads to Liam's house to hand in her resignation. He understands why she needs to do it and her focus turns to repairing things with Bob.

However, Bob gets the wrong end of the stick when he sees the pair leaving the cottage together. Horrified, he sees red and punches Liam in the face. The villagers try to calm him down, but he throws the football at Liam.
Things soon take a horrifying turn when Bob suffers a heart attack. An ambulance is called, and soon Wendy and Liam are left feeling terrible. Wendy heads to the hospital, but it's not until the next day when Bob starts to stir.

Lydia faces a shockEmmerdale is set for explosive scenes next week when Lydia Dingle is left shaken to face a blast from her past. In upcoming scenes, Sam Dingle finds an old dolls house in a skip and he brings it home to do up for granddaughter Esther’s birthday to which it reminds Lydia of the one she had in the children’s home. As they work on the doll’s house, Lydia talks about the children’s home and her late son, Toby.
Fans will recall that Lydia was born as Jenny Finn but was placed into Hotten Grange children's home by her mum, who claimed at the time that she was too ill to look after her. When she was just 15, Lydia became pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn boy, who she buried in the woodland. Jenny later went missing and changed her name to Lydia.
Later in the week, despite everything to do with Dan Spencer, the Dingles celebrate Sam’s birthday. Elsewhere, Lydia starts to worry about her finances after Kim Tate rejects her proposal for more hours. Wanting to take on a second job, Lydia heads to the Hide recruitment fair in search of another job, which leaves Sam unhappy with the situation.
Things soon take an awkward turn when Lydia sees Kim arrive at the Hide recruitment fair, what will she say? However, this is the least of her problems as she's soon left utterly shaken to bump into a mystery man from her past. Having not seen her since the children’s home, Craig’s soon delighted to have found Lydia again.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
