Kim Kardashian 'really needs' her late dad as she shares heartbreaking tribute
Kim Kardashian has shared a devastating tribute to her father Robert Kardashian to mark what would have been his 79th birthday.
The 42-year-old reality star admitted she "really needs him right now" and begged her dad to "come to me in a dream soon".
She also took a moment to reflect on the grandchildren Robert never got to know.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Kim shared a series of pictures and videos of her father from throughout her childhood.
In the caption, she wrote: "Happy Birthday Dad- it's almost getting to the point where I’ve had to remember you longer than I've known you. Its been 20 years since we’ve celebrated your birthday here on earth.

She added: "There's so much I wanna tell you and show you and so many little humans I wish you knew because God you would love them so much!
"I can close my eyes and hear your voice and remember the funniest little things about you that make me so happy. I'll never ever let that go."
Finishing her tribute, Kim opened up about how much she misses Robert.

In the comments, Kylie Jenner offered support to her sister and left a row of white heart emojis. Paris Hilton also left a crying emoji.
Kim's fans were moved by her post, with one person commenting: "He is so proud of you Kim you carry his legacy with you every day."
Another said: "Wow why am I crying… this hits hard when you have an amazing father," while a third fan penned: "Your father is your biggest guardian angel."
Robert Kardashian, most famous for his work as one of OJ Simpson's lawyers died in September 2003, just two months after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He was just 59 years old.
Robert married Kim's mother Kris Jenner in 1978. The pair also share Kourtney, Robert and Khloe Kardashian.

They later divorced in 1991, with Kris going on to marry Caitlyn Jenner, with whom she shares daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
