Living in a quaint and picturesque village can be a beautiful way of life, and bursting with scenic walks can become a popular spot for locals to walk with their dogs. But one fed-up resident has had enough of people lumping their dog poo in his bin during their walk and has taken to extreme measures to stop it from happening.

Taking the act of naming and shaming to a whole new level, the angry homeowner has started filming passers-by - then posting pictures of the culprits on a 'dog s**t wall of shame' when they put the dog poo in the disgruntled resident's bin. The man lives on the South West Coast Path between Mylor and the Pandora Inn in Restronguet, Cornwall, a popular walk for locals, tourists and dog owners.

Although it seems as if dog walkers have become tired of carrying around the droppings, unfortunately for this homeowner, it usually means they use his bin as a dumping place. However, now they've clearly had enough of people using their bin as a dumping ground as they have installed the secret CCTV to catch the walkers red-handed, Cornwall Live reports.

Since installing the cameras, they have already caught three different dog poo culprits and one flower thief. The laminated note angrily reads: "Dog s**t wall of shame. There are no bad dogs only c****y owners who can't be a***d to take their dog poo home and leave it for the poor binman to deal with. You are being filmed. If it s***s take it home, don't leave it for others."

Alongside the note, the photos of the four passers-by are pinned up, but one walker who came across the wall of shame wasn't sure and said: "Putting it in the bin is better than leaving it on the path. I don't see what the problem is," although another agreed with the homeowner and claimed But another explained: "I wouldn't like it if it was my bin. Imagine how bad it would smell after a couple of days in the sunshine. Maybe someone should install a public bin - they've got to do something with it."
