MIC's Miles Nazaire admits 'cheesy' way he went official with Amélie Esquenet
Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire has opened up about the kitsch way he asked Amélie Esquenet to officially be his girlfriend.
The 27-year-old reality star has been linked to fitness instructor Amélie for the past few months - showcasing their relationship via Instagram in July and with Miles asking her to make things a little more official a couple of weeks later. Now the E4 star has explained how he plucked up the courage to ask Amélie to be his girlfriend.
The star - who has been a cast member on Made In Chelsea since 2018 - pitched his relationship suggestion in an unconventional manner. And he explained that he met the fitnesses beauty while MIC was filming special episodes in Corsica - which are due to begin airing later this year.
Opening up to OK! Magazine, Miles said: “Amélie and I only started speaking halfway through me being in Corsica. I met her before going out there, and obviously it was too early to make anything happen - we met through Temps (Miles’ co-star David Templer).

And it’s been going great.” Revealing how he asked Amélie to make their romance official, Miles added: “I made it official with a pizza box! Very cheesy!”

At the end of July, Miles took to Instagram to show a photo of a margarita pizza sitting in a delivery box. On the inside of the box, he had written: “Will you be my girlfriend? Or is this too cheesy??” The cute proposal worked, however, as he then shared a slew of images of him and Amélie looking all loved up.
He added in the caption of the collection of snaps: “I guess that’s a yes then” along with an eyes emoji and a black heart emoji.

He continued to OK!: “I think I want to keep it a little bit separate. Amélie very, very busy herself, and I don't think it works with her lifestyle. It's something very new for her as well - even me posting her are things that she just has never been around.
“So she's still adjusting to that. I just want to respect how she feels and how she wants to do things. She’s been amazing with me and understands that I’m on TV. It’s new for her, and she’s been great. There may be a little scene here and there, but she definitely won't be part of the cast.”
