Meghan and Harry 'badly need a few wins after succession of disasters'
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "very badly need a few runs on the board" after a series of apparent setbacks in their careers, a royal commentator has suggested.
There's been speculation about what's next for the couple - who celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary back in May - following recent updates in their careers. This included the pair having parted ways with Spotify earlier this year.
They recently made an appearance in a video for Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund amid the speculation. Some of their plans for the coming months have also been released in recent days, related to upcoming trips abroad.
Meghan, 42, and Prince Harry, 38, are set to visit Germany together in September for the Invictus Games. The pair's attendance will come after his apparent solo trip to Singapore and Japan later this month for his charity Sentebale.
Royal commentator Daniela Elser has suggested that Meghan and Prince Harry may be returning to a more traditional approach to being Royal Family members with the trips. She suggested the "safe" approach may be beneficial.

She said that their projects in recent years have been "hit and miss," later adding that the couple need some positive coverage and "a few clear-cut wins".
She said that after various interviews, podcasts, deals, hundreds of pages, TV content and more, Meghan and Prince Harry are "far from anything resembling a straight-up success story". She added that the couple are a "so-so story" instead.
The commentator said that a "whiff of the dud" has now attached itself to them, which they "very badly" need to address. Daniela added that they need a success in their careers, suggesting that it could involve "glowing coverage". She said: "I think we can all agree, Harry and Meghan very badly need a few runs on the board, a few clear-cut wins after the last little while that has seen their brand go off a bit of a cliff."

She said that "with no obvious path forward," the video for the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund and the upcoming 'mini-tour' suggest that they're returning to "safe, well-trodden royal ground."
She said that such projects involve discussing "making the world a better place" and charity. She said that this more traditional approach could be adopted, with her saying that on the trip abroad they will just need to greet people and pose.
The couple have recently attracted attention over updates in their careers, like them not being nominated for an Emmy Award for Harry & Meghan. And it's said to be proving "tough" getting projects off the ground at the moment due to the ongoing writer's strike in the US. They're rumoured to have "pieces in the pipeline" though, such as the Netflix documentary Heart of Invictus.
