An oblivious woman was filmed walking directly through a wedding ceremony crossing paths with a bride preparing to walk down the aisle.

The footage was shared by content creator Cory who massively divided opinion on etiquette when the clip was posted to TikTok. Now viewed more 1.3 million people, Cory recorded the ceremony on the sand in Destin, Florida.

Moments into the clip, a woman wearing a swimming costume, sunhat and a towel walks from a small sandy path leading to the beach and turns to pass directly in front of the bride waiting to walk behind her bridesmaids. The woman appears oblivious as she cuts up the bride stood just a few footsteps away from her.

The bride appears to stop in her tracks before possibly delivering some stern words to the woman who turns back to face her. Other guests, along with a man walking alongside the bride, seem to point at the cabana as they explain to the interloper what is happening.

While the bizarre moment was likely unexpected given the relatively roomy beach, the clip divided opinion as some appeared to think the woman had a right to traipse through the private event being held on a public, busy beach. Others were outraged at the audacity and lack of common courtesy or sense.

One wrote: "I get that it's a public beach but that lady in the beach hat could have patiently waited for the wedding procession to pass". Another added: "People can be such jerks! I love that the bride said something to her."

However, some opinions fell in support of the woman, arguing the bride and groom should expect interruptions while getting wed on a public beach. One said: "Still trying to figure out what she did wrong." Another claimed: "They don't own the beach because they're getting married."

The clip shows other beachgoers appearing to make room for the event by keeping their distance and setting up their beach towels and chairs away from the cabana and seats.
