Ten Hag needs to 'sell up to five players' to fund Amrabat transfer
With less than two weeks to go until the Premier League season gets underway, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will be finalising his plans ahead of the new campaign.
The Dutchman has already signed two players this summer and has a third on his way through the Old Trafford doors with Rasmus Hojlund set to arrive from Atalanta. Denmark international Hojlund was left on the bench by Atalanta for their last pre-season friendly against Bournemouth, with a Premier League move imminent.
His arrival would take United's spending north of £150m this window, still a little lower than the corresponding period in 2022. This is also after Mason Mount and Andre Onana made the move to the Red Devils.
Although United have been linked with more incomings, it is players out the door that is said to be the priority. With that in mind, here are the latest rumours to come out of Old Trafford.
Amrabat blow
United boss Ten Hag may need to 'sell up to five players' to fund a move for Sofyan Amrabat this summer.

According to The Independent, the Red Devils have now got to sell before they can buy, with Hojlund set to become their latest summer arrival. The report claims that United will need to allow five stars to depart the club in the coming weeks if they are to get a deal over the line for Fiorentina's Amrabat, who is valued at around £30m.
Scott McTominay has been heavily linked with a move away from the club. The Scotland international is subject to interest from West Ham as they aim to sign a replacement for Declan Rice. Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Fred could depart with Fulham reportedly keen on the Brazilian.
Harry Maguire, Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Martial may also be allowed to leave.
Sunderland sign Bishop
United starlet Nathan Bishop has left the club for Sunderland - just weeks after signing a new contract and then accidentally injuring Wrexham star Paul Mullin.
The 23-year-old has joined the Black Cats on a permanent basis, signing a three-year deal. Speaking after the move was made official, Bishop said: "You see the direction that the Club is going, playing young players and allowing them to express themselves and push on in a great league. I think that is so exciting, so I want to come in and earn the right to play for such a great team and a great Club."

Leeds could move for Williams
Leeds United could move for Man Utd full-back Brandon Williams, according to The Independent. The academy talent has been signed by Whites boss Daniel Farke before, with the German taking him to Norwich in a one-year loan deal ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
Farke is now in the dugout at Elland Road, replacing Sam Allardyce following relegation from the Premier League. Several members of last season's squad have already left on loan, with Williams potentially filling the gap left by Rasmus Kristensen's temporary move to Roma.
The 22-year-old missed the start of last season through injury and only made one appearance for United in the entire campaign. However, he has been part of Erik ten Hag's touring squad in the United States.
