Comedian and The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett has shocked his fans as he claimed he's eager to try his pregnant wife Hannah's breast milk.

The couple, who married in 2019, announced their pregnancy earlier this year and have been keeping fans up to date on their pregnancy journey including building a nursery to debating breastfeeding. Speaking on their shared podcast Never Have I Ever, the conversation began to discuss motherhood, pregnancy and breast milk with mum-to-be Hannah joking: "I am a little bit fearful that you're going to make a breast milk flat white." Rather than dismiss the notion of topping up his morning coffee with breast milk, Joel responded: "Yeah! I also don't get this thing where people are like 'Uuurgh breast milk, uuurgh'. Like no, give me that, please."

Laughing off her husband's comments, Hannah quipped back: "I don't think you're gonna want it." However Joel insisted as he continued his promise, labelling it as part of the "exciting" parenthood experience. He shared: "I'm up for trying all this stuff, this is an exciting adventure. There is stuff coming out of your nipples that a baby can drink. I want to try it!"

Keen to test his seriousness, Hannah asked again: "Are you going to make a flat white out of my breast milk?" With husband Joel responded that he would but only "If you think you've got surplus." Although not everybody was eager as Joel thought, the comedian shared the clip to his Instagram to gauge the reaction from fans as he wrote: "Surely it’s less weird than drinking cows milk?"

Some fans seemed completely put off by the idea, but there were many that were behind Joel's decision as they backed his argument that the natural and healthy substance can also be consumed by adults. One fan commented: "It’s the only milk actually designed for human consumption. So yes, definitely less weird than drinking milk produced by and for cows." Another added: "Love that you're trying to normalise breast milk. It is an amazing natural thing. The fact that it changes for baby's needs is amazing! Well done!xx".

"It is less weird but there are a lot of people conditioned to thinking breast milk and breastfeeding is not natural or normal!" said a third. A fourth agreed as they shared: "100 per cent agree, human breast milk is designed specifically for humans, cows breast milk is guess what…designed for calves…" Even influencer Calum Best backed Joel's decision as he commented: "I'm with you on this" in the comments.

The couple announced they were expecting in March this year, and have kept fans up to date with their pregnancy journey including their progress as they decorated the nursery.
