Madonna gets heartfelt shoutout from Beyonce as she's spotted in the crowd

Madonna was given a heartfelt shoutout from Queen Bey herself after she was spotted in the crowd at the New Jersey Renaissance show.

As Beyonce strutted down the stage in a glittering pink ensemble, one of the Vogue sections of her hit track, Break My Soul (The Queens Remix) played and the pop icon took a moment to thank her dear friend and musical legend in the audience.

"Big shout out to the queen,’ she declared, adding: "Queen Mother, Madonna, we love you," as rousing cheers spread through the stadium.

Madonna, who was sat looking fresh faced clasped her hands together against the VIP front, looking lovingly at her pal as she took to the stage and offered her gratitude.

The outing is one of the first times fans have seen the Vogue singer since she was hospitalised last month. She was rushed to hospital last month and ended up in intensive care due to the scary condition. The hospitalisation meant she had to postpone her eagerly awaited world tour which was due to celebrate her 40 years in the industry.

However, the Queen of Pop has now told her millions of followers on social media she is "on the road to recovery". Madge, 64, also thanked them for their support.

"Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement," Madonna wrote on Instagram. "I have felt your love. I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.

It isn't the first time Beyonce and Madonna have shown the power of their friendship. The Single Ladies singer paid tribute to Madonna last year when the Queen Remix of Break My Soul was released as surprise to fans.

In a message, she wrote: "I’m so grateful for you. You have opened so many doors for so many women. You are a masterpiece genius. Thank you for allowing me to sing in your song and thank you for naming the remix," to which, Madonna replied: "Thank you!! From one [queen] to another. I love the re-mix!"
