Love Island fans were quick to complain moments into the final tonight as they fumed over a missing moment.

The show is coming to an end this evening as the four remaining couples – Whitney and Lochan, Ella and Tyrique, Molly and Zachariah and Jess and Sammy – learn who has taken home the prize money of £50,000. The four made the final after Ella B and Mitchel narrowly missed out on a place in the top four when they were dumped from the Island on Sunday night.

As the final kicked off this evening, fans were quick to take to Twitter to vent their feelings about the final – as they fumed over the lack of a baby challenge this series, which has always been a popular one with viewers.

"Can’t believe they didn’t do the baby challenge this series wtf #loveIsland," one wrote, as a second added: "Did I miss the baby challenge or something? #loveIsland." A third penned: "just realised they didn’t do the baby challenge #loveIsland."

Throughout the series, Love Island has been hit by a string of complaints including over 1,000 Ofcom complaints over claims that the Islanders had been 'bullying' Scott. After Casa Amor and Movie Night, when Scott returned alone, Catherine came back with Elom and it soon sparked a furious row when Scott confessed he 'wouldn't miss' Catherine once the new girls arrive.

Whilst Catherine's anger rose, Leah suggested that Scott was only single at the Casa Amor recoupling because 'no one wanted him'– before Scott immediately hit back at her cruel comments. Scott hit back and savagely told Leah it was the first time he had heard her 'speak in four weeks' as he called out the blonde beauty in the ongoing row.

Following that clash, 957 complaints were made to Ofcom after viewers found Leah's comments 'overly harsh' and felt as though Scott was being 'ganged up on' in the villa after Catherine turned her back on him in Casa Amor.

"Catherine and Leah both need to leave the villa!!! They are so cruel and mean to Scott. Everyone seems to forget that he was left on his own when she came back from Casa Amor," one wrote at the time, whilst another added: "I’m calling Ofcom over the Scott’s bullying it’s too much." A third penned: "Not Scott who is the nicest boy in the villa being BULLIED right in front of our eyes."
