Khloe Kardashian looked every inch the proud mum

Khloe Kardashian shared a series a snaps of her youngest child as she marked his first birthday.

The reality TV star, 39, took to Instagram on Friday to share the cute images of youngster Tatum, who she shares with ex Tristan Thompson. The pair welcomed the tot via surrogate.

The first image in the reel showed the mum-of-two carrying her youngster who looked stylish in a white vest, grey shorts and a gold chain. Another pic showed Tatum enjoying bath time with his older sister True, 5, as they enjoyed playing with the bubbles.

A third saw KoKo dressed in black as she donned a cat outfit, complete with painted whiskers. Tatum meanwhile looked cute in a fluffy tiger onesy. More sweet snaps continued, including an adorable shot of Tatum as a newborn surrounded by his sister and two older cousins, North and Penelope.

Along with the sweet photo dump, Khloe took time to post a lengthy and heartfelt tribute to her "sweet son". "I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you," she began. "God knew my heart needed you.

"I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son."

She continued to say she was "proud" to be able to be his mom and expressed her joy in the "love and laughter" he brings to the family home. "So proud of your beautiful, gentle, loving, infectious spirit," she continued. "You light up every single room. There’s no denying that Everyone smiles when they look at you! Especially True. She is so proud to call you hers."

Khloe continued to gush how the youngster had changed her and her daughter's life forever, admitting he came along as a time they both needed him. She poured her heart out about how she could never have imagined the siblings would have had such a strong bond already before rejigging the song "You Are My Sunshine".

Her fans were quick to head to the comments section to share the love, with the little guy's "cuteness" being a main talking point.

Khloe and Tristan welcomed their second child months after their on-off romance came to an end. Despite their separation they have continued to co-parent True and Tatum.
