Meghan Markle will celebrate her birthday 'in private' after recent drama
Meghan Markle is turning 42 next Friday, but it looks as though she will be having "toned down" celebrations following recent drama.
A PR expert has suggested the Duchess of Sussex will opt for a "private affair" to mark her birthday. She's likely to spend the day at her home in Montecito, California, with her family. Meghan's birthday comes after a tough few weeks for her and her husband Prince Harry. The couple were recently accused of "snubbing" an elderly neighbour and causing "panic" amid rumours they're planning a move to Santa Barbara.
Mayah Riaz, PR to the stars, suggested Meghan will be "treated" by Harry on her special day following the controversy.

"It's quite possible that Meghan will spend the day of her actual birthday at home in Montecito, surrounded by her two children, Price Harry, possibly her mother Doria and their rescue dogs. Meghan may also choose to celebrate her special day with a small, intimate gathering. This could be with friends at their home or at a restaurant," Mayah told us.

Mayah believes the actress might invite her famous friends to celebrate her birthday.
"We know the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a few famous friends. Recently they had dinner with Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Brad Fulchuck, Cameron Diaz and her husband, Benji Madden. It's likely that Oprah, Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Ellen might help Meghan celebrate her special day too," she told us.

"Meghan is known for her philanthropic endeavours and passion for advocating important causes. It is likely she may dedicate her time to meaningful activities that align with her values. We may not hear of this publicly as we did for her 40th birthday," she said.
