She said: "I loved it, I loved going on the lots of little dates. We went off to the Dominican Republic and we had a holiday. You go on loads of dates and then you choose somebody to go on holiday with then you take that date across."
However, asked if she's still in touch with Celebs Go Dating's Ben, who she took on the holiday, Alison simply replied: "No!"
Vanessa was then asked if she was glad she did the show to which she quipped: "I'm still doing it! We're only halfway through, I'm filming tonight and I've got another date on Friday. It's all going on."
Asked if her dates have paid, Vanessa said she thinks they have, although she added: "Most the time I can't eat anything anyway as I'm too nervous!"
To which Alison had some valuable advice for her co-star, she said: "You know what you should do... sit back and let them talk to you.
"Sit back, you don't have to do any talking, you talk all day long on your show, this show. Sit back and let them do the talking."
Vanessa admitted she struggles on the dates with communication, saying: "If I do ask questions, they say: 'Oh, she was interviewing me!' It's all a bit difficult."
The presenter then revealed that she would be hosting a special dating phone in for viewers wanting advice.
Vanessa said: "I've been on six dates already, I've got another half of the show to go and my God... I'm learning a few things on the job..."
