Love Island fans switch off as Mitch awkwardly roasts Islanders in talent show

Love Island fans couldn't help but cringe as Mitch 'roasted' his fellow Islanders for the infamous talent show.

The hotly anticipated part of the show returned this evening, with the Islanders showing off their wide range of talents including hula hooping, dancing, basketball, frisbee, singing and balloon making amongst others.

However, it was Mitch's performance that got the most people talking - as they cringed over his awkward performance. Fans rushed to Twitter to give their thoughts on the roast whilst others threatened to mute the TV or switch it off altogether.

The talent show turned things awkward tonight (ITV)

One wrote: "Mitch brought the talent show from 100-0 real quick #LoveIsland," whilst a second added: "That was so painful to watch Mitch #LoveIsland." A third shared: "I can’t with Mitch’s roast, so awkward #LoveIsland."

"Watching Mitch was so uncomfortable, f***ing poor guy man he got no sauce man #sauceless #LoveIsland," a fourth added, with a fifth writing: "THIS IS SO BAD AND AWKWARD OMG ELLA B LOOKS LIKE SHES GETTING THE ICK FROM MITCH #LoveIsland."

A sixth penned: "The momentum was soo good and now Mitch’s just slaughtered it #LoveIsland," whilst a seventh concluded after the roast Mitch had done: "Mitch’s performance was so awkward #LoveIsland."

One moment turned particularly awkward when Mitch tried to roast his ex Abi by telling her she would deny something the next day, with Whitney immediately jumping to her defence and saying his comment wasn't funny at all.

Elsewhere in the talent show, Zach was left impressed by Molly's hula hoop skills, saying: "My girl Molly, she set the bar high."

Introducing his frisbee playing, Lochan said: "Today I’m going to be chucking a frisbee at a target. Ten years ago I played frisbee for Great Britain so hopefully, I can hit some of them."

Whitney and Tyrique came together to rap whilst Sammy performed a headstand, juggled and walked on his hands.

Molly was equally taken by Zach's basketball skills, saying: "Zach and his basketball skills. I mean wow - he looked hot! I was very impressed," whilst Ella showed off her dancing and gymnastics.

"I’ve been feeling like a clown most days so I’m just going to embrace it now," Abi said as she introduced her balloon animal act whilst Ella and Jess danced, before giving their partners a lap dance. Scott finished the show with a song.
