Lionesses Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh's 'romance', cute dog and joint Spain move
Lucy Bronze is ranked amongst the world's best defenders and has a number of other accolades to her name - from winning the Champions League three times to being awarded an MBE.
The talented football star began her career at Sunderland before transferring to Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and France - and now she's back with Man City and playing for Barcelona.
Lucy, 31, used to work for pizza chain Domino's at the Headingly branch, and the store was heartwarmingly renamed 'Lucy's' in her honour after the Euros 2022 win.
As the England defender returns for the 2023 Women's World Cup this summer, hoping to lead the team to victory again, we take a look at her life off-pitch.

Lucy is very close with her family, especially her older brother's adorable two kids (Instagram)Lucy, whose full name is Lucia Roberta Tough Bronze, was brought up bilingual in Berwick-upon-Tweed with her Portuguese dad, Joaquim, and English mum, Diane. She told The Guardian: " Dad used to speak to us in Portuguese, but we always replied in English. That's probably why I'm not very comfortable speaking Portuguese."

The 31-year-old was introduced to football by her older brother, Jorge, at a very young age. Then when she was 10 years old, her mum bought Lucy her first spikes and she joined a football team - as the only girl in a team of boys.
Lucy recalled her childhood football coach telling her that she would have to leave the club over fears of injuring herself in a mixed team. But her mum simply said: "Right. No one is telling my little girl that she can't do something."
Close family
Her sweet pup Narla has her own Instagram account and gets recognised by strangers on walks (lucybronze/Instagram)Lucy, who hails from Northumberland, has remained really close with her family and likes to spend time with her older brother's children off the pitch. She often posts photos with her nephew, Alfred, and niece, Alzira, on Instagram.
She is also very close to her grandmother and has an incredibly close bond with her doting mum, who she coins her "number one fan since day one". Her dad told Eurosport that watching his daughter perform at such a high level is "still a little bit surreal".
Lucy owns a West Highland terrier called Narla, who even has her own Instagram account. Lucy told PA: "The one thing now is even my dog gets recognised. Even if I am not walking her people know who my dog is."

The pair have been on holiday together and share sweet photos online (Instagram)Lucy is reportedly dating England midfielder Keira Walsh and both of them moved from Manchester City to Barcelona last summer. Although the pair haven't made it 'Instagram official', they have shared a series of snaps together. From their recent girls' trip to LA, where they posed on a beach together, to a romantic trip to Lyon in 2019, the duo have spent much of their time off in each other's company.
