Emmerdale fans were left confused by a blunder during tonight's episode of the ITV soap as Caleb made a huge offer to Moira and Cain as they continue to struggle with their farm finances

Fans of Emmerdale have been left puzzled by a blunder – as Caleb Miligan made a huge offer to Moira this evening.

Moira and Cain have been struggling with the farm, unsure how they will be able to keep things going there. It had meant they had to ask Mack and Nate to job share in a bid to cut their costs, as they face financial ruin on the ITV soap.

Understandably, Nate was not happy about the idea and hit out at Mack for not doing half the work that he did. Cain understood his frustration but said their hands were tied, given how little money the farm was making and how Caleb had messed with things, causing them to struggle with their finances in the recent months.

Caleb then came up with an offer for Moira, suggesting he put money into the farm to help support it as a way of repenting over what he’d done to his own family when he was trying to fleece Kim Tate of Home Farm.

Cain wasn’t keen but Moira insisted they had no choice but to accept his offer. Whilst she insisted it would be a loan and they would pay him back, Caleb said there was no need before asking them how much they need.

When they asked for £75,000, he was quick to agree and said the money would be in their account in the morning, leaving their business and farm to survive for a little longer as they tried to rebuild things.

However, it left fans puzzled - as they didn’t understand how Caleb had the money to hand over so much in just one day. He had told his son Nicky he needed the money off Kim or his ex and Nicky’s mum would lose the house. He never successfully got Kim’s money and he also recently purchased a property in the village, vowing to stay there permanently.

"Caleb's bid to scam Kim failed so where did he get all the money from to lend to anyone. I thought he told his son he needed money to save the family home," one fan wrote, as a second added: "Caleb told Not Nanny Nicky that he wanted to scam Kim so he could help Not Nanny Nicky's mum out financially and yet he has bought Vinny's house and offered Tracy and Moira money #confused."

A third shared: "Remember when Caleb was skint? But since then has bought a flat outright and can help Moira out financially because me too #Emmerdale," with a fourth taking to Twitter to share: "Wasn't Caleb meant to be skint? Where did his mysterious money come from? Is he growing a money tree or something? #Emmerdale."
