Jamie Foxx fans will be delighted to know that his new movie They Cloned Tyrone alongside John Boyega and Teyonah Parris is now available on Netflix.

But they will be more thrilled to understand that the 55-year-old Hollywood star is seemingly well on the road to recovery following a huge health scare that left him hospitalised and, subsequently, had everyone panicking.

While working on his upcoming Netflix film Back In Action, Jamie was rushed to hospital in April following the terrifying and mysterious health scare, which has yet to be disclosed.

His demise in health was said to have occurred while he was working on the Netflix film Back in Action. The incident required an extensive hospital stay for the Hollywood star and attendance at a physical rehab centre.

During the time, his celebrity pals such as Vin Diesel, Courteney Cox, John Legend, Jeremy Renner and more rallied around him and showed their support for his speedy recovery.

However, while claims rapidly emerged online about Jamie's health continuing to deteriorate and his family "preparing for the worst", his daughter Corinne set the record straight. She reassured fans that he was "on his way to recovery" thanks to the "quick action" of medics.

Updating fans on Instagram, she wrote: "My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating. "In fact, he was playing pickelball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!"

At the time, Jamie had also taken to social media to thank his fans for the support, as he said he was "feeling blessed" with all of the love.

Shortly after, the father and daughter duo their plans to host a new game show, We Are Family.

The new series is expected to premiere in 2024 and will feature the non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their well-known family members. The celebrities will be hidden, and contestants can win up to $100,000 by correctly identifying them.

Since then, the Miami Vice star has continued to recover and was recently spotted in public for the first time since his hospitalisation as he waved to fans from a boat while sailing along the Chicago River.

However, the sighting lent itself to a bizarre and unfounded online theory that Jamie has a stunt double who was going around pretending to be him.

Despite the speculation, a source went on to say Jamie is "doing really really well" but is still keeping visitors away during his recovery.

They opened up about Jamie's current condition, telling People: "He is just taking it easy. He's not really having any visitors or anything like that yet, but he's doing really really well."

Another source claimed the actor is getting better but still doesn't feel 100 per cent.

"Jamie is doing so much better, and he's starting to feel like himself again. He's not 100 per cent and is still taking things easy, but he's definitely on the road to recovery," they said.

The source added how the Oscar winner "has a huge support system around him, and his friends and family are making sure that he doesn't take on too much."

Speaking to US Weekly, they said he is "feeling really good and is excited to get back to work once the time is right."

Jamie is very much active on Twitter now, and he has been promoting his new movie They Cloned Tyrone, which sees an unlikely trio of people thrust together to investigate a nefarious government conspiracy following a series of eerie events.
