Ariana and Dalton tried to save their marriage in London last January

Dalton Gomez traveled to London last January to visit his wife, Ariana Grande, to try and save their marriage, sources claim.

In January, Ariana and Dalton were seen waiting in line for crepes at La Creperie de Hampstead in London. It's said that this visit was the couple's attempt to rekindle their romance.

"It didn't work out," the source said about the visit. The two have allegedly been separated since January but have just recently gone through the process of divorcing.

The couple are said to be friends still. "They came to the decision together," the insider told Page Six, "They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends."

Photos and videos of the couple are still up on Ariana's Instagram, though the wedding photos are no longer there. It's unsure when Ariana took the wedding photos off her feed. The last time she was seen wearing a ring was in April at Jeff Goldblum's London concert.

They seem to want to be keeping the divorce as private as possible since sources say: "Their friends and families have been trying to protect them."

Ariana has been in London filming the film adaption of Wicked, set to be released at the end of 2024. She is playing Glinda while playing opposite Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.

She attended Wimbledon with her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey, best known for playing Anthony in Bridgerton. While there, she also sat next to actor Andrew Garfield. Also while at the tennis competition, photos of the songstress showed she didn't have on her wedding ring.

The singer took to Instagram today to show off pictures and videos from Wimbleton, showing off her outfit and playful photos of her and Jonathan, including a video of Jonathan playfully skipping around London.

Ariana and Dalton started dating in January 2020 and made their relationship public in the music video for "Stuck With U," a song Ariana did with Justin Bieber. Later that year in December, she announced via Instagram that her and Dalton were engaged. The two got married in a private ceremony at Ariana's Montecito home in May 2021 where Ariana wore a custom Vera Wang dress.
