Liverpool's work in the summer transfer window is far from done as Jurgen Klopp prepares for some high profile departures.

The Saudi Pro League could potentially cause havoc for the Reds, with Jordan Henderson still considering a huge money offer from rivals Al-Ettifaq. Brazilian midfielder Fabinho meanwhile, is almost certainly off to Al-Hilal for a £40 million fee.

Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister and RB Leipzig player Dominik Szoboszlai have already arrived at Anfield, but now more reinforcements could soon be needed. It's a headache Klopp could have done without as he prepares his squad to bounce back from a difficult campaign.

Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest Liverpool transfer news.

Fowler backs Henderson over 'outrage'

Former Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has backed Jordan Henderson amid criticism of his proposed move to Saudi Arabia.

Fowler, now manager of Saudi First Division side Al-Qadsiah, said: "I can see the usual horror has been provoked, now that some high profile figures in British football have become involved in the Saudi Pro League.

‌"It is Jordan Henderson's supposed wages which has sparked the outrage. I’ve never quite understood why footballers' wages are such a sensitive topic, while the billions earned by financiers are never questioned. I’m not going to condemn Jordan, Steven Gerrard or anyone else who has gone to work in Saudi Arabia."

Newcastle United have submitted an £82 million offer for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to WinWinAllSports.

He's player previously linked with Liverpool, with Klopp making no secret of his admiration for the star last year: "He is really good, the boy, and really quick and you have to defend him together in these moments," said the German boss. "When he has the advantage of the first movement, then he is already gone.

“You have to try to be there in the moment when the ball arrives, but if you cannot do that then you need to be protected because he has speed, he is cheeky, he goes inside, he can go outside, that makes it always really difficult."

Former Reds star savaged by Tuchel

A move back to Liverpool looks very unlikely for Sadio Mane, but the prospect of him leaving Bayern has surely been raised.

Manager Thomas Tuchel has delivered a brutal assessment of the striker's first season in Germany, which was plagued by injury and underwhelming form. The Senegalese star was even banned and fined by his club in April after allegedly hitting teammate Leroy Sane.

"Basically, Sadio had an unsatisfactory season and fell short of expectations," he said. "The competitive situation is extremely high for him with Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry, we have a constellation which makes it very difficult for Sadio. The player knows that too, he knows my opinion and the opinion of the club."
