Olly Murs makes unusual promise ahead of wedding day to Amelia Tank
Olly Murs has vowed not to sing at his own wedding as he doesn’t want to steal the limelight from his bride, Amelia Tank.
The 39-year-old chart topping star has been in a relationship with 31-year-old bodybuilder and model Amelia since 2019 and the pair became engaged in June last year.
The couple are all set to walk down the aisle today - but Olly has insisted that the star of his wedding will be his blushing bride.
The Right Place Right Time singer has insisted that the special day should be focused on Amelia and he says he wants all eyes to be on her.

“I want her to have the most magical day and I want all eyes to be on her.”
He added: “Amelia said to me, ‘If you do, it will really p*** me off.’ I did suggest live-streaming the wedding at one point. But she was like, ‘No way.’”

The Daily Mail has reported that the pair have hired Osea Island off the coast of Essex for a two-day celebration - with a giant marquee and carnival rides being set up as part of the celebrations.
And while Olly may have vowed not to sing at the wedding, snaps have revealed a giant stage has been set up on the island - beloved to be used for bands to perform on on the eve of the big day.
Earlier this month, Olly admitted he has transformed into a monster while planning the romantic event. Opening up to the Mirror, he declared: “I’m a groomzilla. I never expected it, I thought I’d be the opposite.
“Amelia will sit me down and go, ‘Look, we’ve decided on this’ and I’m like, ‘No, no, no. Get rid of that, change that, move that’.
“I didn’t know I cared so much about what the flowers look like but, honest to God, if I’m reincarnated, I’m coming back as a florist.”
He went on to admit to scrutinising every single detail of their big day, “even to the point of cutlery”. He said: “I didn’t realise how much I would love picking what the plates are going to look like, the glasses.
“There’s a lady helping us plan the wedding and I said to her, ‘I don’t want ugly chairs, you know those horrible school chairs that are horrendous’. She said, ‘Olly, I’ve been doing this for a long time…”

And previously, Olly explained that he hopes to have some of his iconic The Voice co-stars at his big day. He said last year: "I'd love [Sir] Tom [Jones] to be at my wedding. I don't know if he'd want to be there but I'd ask him.
"It will be down to schedules, but I'd love all my friends to be there. I don't want a massive wedding; I want it quite intimate and just family really and close friends. We'll see what happens."
