Love Island's Jess blasts 'disrespectful' Sammy as he's dumped in recoupling

Ella B and Josh were forced to make two Islanders single on Friday but Sammy struggle to handle the result as the newly-dumped Islander stormed off following the controversial moment.

The Villa was rocked by an unexpected recoupling as the Islanders gathered around the fire pit to find out Josh and Ella B's decision.

Ella B revealed she would be stealing Mitch from Abi while Josh left Sammy single by choosing Jess.

After the decision, Sammy walked off with the rest of the boys as Josh followed before the newly-single Islander told him to leave him alone.

"I'll chat to you in a minute," Sammy quipped as Jess headed over to comfort Josh.

She thanked the Islander for picking her and told him not to worry about other Islanders' reactions to his decision.

Jess and Josh attempted to speak to Sammy but he remarked: "Let me vent," while Jess hit back: "That's disrespectful."

Later, Jess scolded Sammy for storming off with the rest of the boys as he questioned why she hadn't spoken to him before her new partner.

She explained she felt it wasn't fair to leave him alone after he had made such a difficult decision.

Sammy questioned why his former partner had told Josh she was "open" and not "completely closed off", leaving Jess to hit back: "I'm not your girlfriend."

Love Island fans took to Twitter to defend Josh's decision as one viewer tweeted: "Sammy getting a taste of his own medicine is the karma we all need x #LoveIsland," while another added: "Sammy never says anything reassuring he just says 'ah we were smooth sailing and now there's another bump in the road'. He never says anything about the future with her. He's just trying to make it to the final with the easiest op. Get him out. #LoveIsland."

"If this leads to Sammy asking Jess to be his girlfriend and not Jess waking up and moving on it will be a waste #loveisland," another remarked and a fourth said: "Jess telling Sammy she’s not his girlfriend oh there might be hope for my sister #LoveIsland."
