Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have special family celebration next week
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be celebrating as a family in a matter of days, as a special day looms for the Duke and Duchess.
The couple, who stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020, moved to America that same year and have celebrated Independence Day together in the past.
Meghan, an American citizen, lives in Montecito, Santa Barbara with husband Prince Harry and their children Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.
And now, as the family of four approach this year's Independence Day - they might be set to celebrate in a big way.
Not only have the couple celebrated the special day in the past, but it also holds a very special meaning for them both too.

Before their second date, Meghan attended Wimbledon, with the Duke recalling in his tell-all book of how they met up after her outing.
He explained how Meghan wore a blue and white sundress to their date, with her walking up to him.
As she walked up to him, he presented her with a box of cupcakes.
"She opened the box," he recalled, adding: "Cupcakes. Red, white and blue cupcakes, to be exact. In honour of Independence Day."
Not only does the Fourth of July hold a special meaning for Harry and Meghan's love story, but they have celebrated the day in different ways over the years.

And the year before in 2018, both Meghan and Harry attended a Commonwealth Youth reception at Marlborough House, which came the day after July 4 and mere weeks after their Royal wedding.
Independence Day is known as a federal holiday in the United States, which commemorates the Declaration of Independence.
The day was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which in turn established the United States of America.
