Two dead and three injured after mass shooting at Father's Day party
Two people were shot dead and three were injured in a mass attack at a Father's Day party.
The shooting broke out at around 8pm yesterday in the Roseland neighbourhood of Chicago, Illinois, adding to the spate of violence seen in the city recently.
One victim, a 37-year-old male, was shot in the head while the other man was killed after being shot in the next aged 33.
Medics were unable to save him after he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.

Fifth District Chicago Police Department Commander Tyrone Pendarvis said: "It's unfortunate today that this occurred because it's a fine day of people just enjoying their family activity. But violence prevails in the city."
A teenager was also shot (WGN News)A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after he was hit in the shoulder and buttocks.
A teenager, 19, was also shot along with a 35-year-old man but both are stable.
Reports indicate the shots came from a passing car as a barbecue was held in Smith Park. It is unclear if the shooting was targeted.
"My cousin said that she heard 15 to 16 shots," Michael Henry, a relative of a nearby resident, said to CBS. "A car just pulled up and starting shooting, and then I think it's like 20 or more shots and everybody was ducking and stuff like that."

A police investigation is ongoing and cops are on the lookout for a grey Honda sedan.
The incident means there has been 311 mass shootings in the US this year alone, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive which counts a mass shooting as one in which at least four people are shot, excluding the shooter.

Illlinois Governor JB Pritzker said: "Gathering for a holiday celebration should be a joyful occasion, not a time where gunfire erupts and families are forced to run for safety.
"As I’ve said time and time again, gun violence is a public health emergency in this country and I remain committed to banning these dangerous weapons and making our state safer for everyone."
