Mark Wright has shared a sneak peak of his lavish home pool in his £3.5m mega mansion with Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright has added a huge swimming pool to his luxury mansion which he shares with wife Michelle Keegan.

The couple's home in Essex is worth a reported £3.5 million and boasts impressive countryside views as well as a luxury interior. However, it appears that wasn't enough for TV presenter Mark who has now added a large swimming pool to the stunning home.

Mark and Michelle started work on the swimming pool back in February, with the aim to have it up and ready for the potential summer heatwave.

As the pool starts to take shape, Mark has showed off the construction work in progress on his Instagram.

Sharing a series of snaps of the ongoing building work, Mark proudly showed off the dug out trench as workers placed in the foundations for his luxury pool.

The outside now boasts a plush exterior with steps leading down to the pool and sunbathing area.

The work joins a steady stream of makeovers that the TV presenter and his actress wife have had done to make the pad truly their own.

The garden in particular has been a huge focus for the pair, as Mark told social media followers as he spoke out last year: "Our garden means the world to us and we love the outdoors.

"We searched high an low to find the best landscape designers, after realising that there was only one company for us."

He added: "It’s funny how you can have a dream, tell the professionals and they make your dream, bigger than you ever imagined."

Inside the luxury mansion the pair have opted for a chic and stylish neutral decor, often giving glimpses of their lounge and dressing room and the home's stunning bathroom.

The mansion was originally purchased by Mark and Michelle for £1.3 million but is now thought to be worth more than twice that at £3.5 million.

The home has five bedrooms with three of them having private dressing rooms, as well the luxury home having an extensive home gym.

While putting the finishing touches on their home, it was reported that they splashed out a whopping £30,000 on trees which lined their home to give the couple some privacy.
