Missing dad walked into pitch-black woods and never came back
A dad who left his home and walked into the pitch-black woods in the early hours of the morning has not been seen since.
Police are continuing their search for Colby Richards, 31, who disappeared from his home on Friday, May 26.
The dad-of-two reportedly walked out of his home in Spring, Texas, leaving his back gate open, which is what led his wife to call the police.
His wife Callie told reporters he usually gets up for work at around 5am but the morning he went missing she didn't hear him getting ready.
After she went outside, she discovered the back gate was open and there was no sign of her husband.

The missing man's cousin Allison Fox has set up a fundraiser in an attempt to help support Callie as she focuses on finding her husband.
Colby was last seen wearing grey Under Armour sneakers, black shorts, and a t-shirt.
Ms Fox said that leaving the gate open was very strange behaviour from Colby, who would normally make sure it was closed to protect his kids and dogs.

"It's a really big mystery. There's not a lot of definites or clues to go from," she continued.
Colby is a beloved baseball coach who worked with young players in his community, and he had just got a new job at an engineering company when he vanished.
He would reportedly often go for a walk without his phone to clear his head.
After waking to find her husband not in the house, Callie went to other rooms in their home to see if he had decided to sleep somewhere else.

Callie said her husband does not suffer from any medical or mental health issues.
More than 50 volunteers have joined professional search teams in looking for the 31-year-old in local wooded areas.
